Prevocational Classes

This section receives children from 12 to 17 years old who suffer from neurological/behavioral and disorders or learning disabilities and therefore, face challenges to enroll in the traditional educational system. In these classes the therapists design well thought of plans based on each child’s capabilities and individual differences. We work with the children on their academic, social, cognitive and self-care skills aiming to prepare the child to meet the criteria for enrollment  in vocational centers.

We start by conducting the necessary assessments to determine the capabilities and level of each child. A specific plan will be developed for the goals that need development and modification, and the skills that need to be developed, such as:

  • Mathematics
  • Reading
  • Writing
  • Self care
  • Personality strength
  • Executing and processing orders
  • Recruitment; systematic and time commitment
  • Promptitude and movement speed
  • Auditory and visual memory
  • Problems solving skills
  • Use of money
  • Communication skills
  • Personal safety
